Rolling Stock Repairs On-site
With over 1000 rolling stock train repairs since 2005, AllScope Projects have all the experience and the processes perfected, in the logistics of on-site rolling stock GRP repairs.
AllScope Rolling Stock Repairs Services Teams recognise the importance of train operators to have maximum availability of rolling stock in service at any one time.
With a 24-hour on-site response time, train operators benefit from our ability to be on-site and provide the required reports from which to generate work package plans and method statements, completing the repair or refurbishment of GRP train cabs and nose ends.
As original manufacturers of toolings and moulds, we have the capabilities to create new original moulds for new contracts and train models. All phenolic GRP moulds and repairs or refurbishments are completed to conform with European EN45545-2 standards.
Despite the durability and strength of phenolic GRP, train cabs can still be damaged by a wide range of debris when in service. The benefits of phenolic GRP mean they can be repaired or refurbished on-site, meeting high safety specification requirements to put a cab back into service at the earliest, safest opportunity.
We also take deliveries of parts for train repairs and refurbishments at AllScope Projects Manufacturing Site, before returning them fully restored to fleet operators and maintenance depots.
On-site, in live working depots, we provide the following approved Rolling Stock Repairs services:
