What is Phenolic GRP and why use Phenolic GRP?
Phenolic GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastics) is a fire retardant resin, providing enhanced safety and protection.
Phenolic GRP is achieved by inserting a fire retardant resin into base materials such as glass and carbon fibre. This enables products to be more resistant to elements of heat and chemicals including temperature, flames, smoke and toxicity.
A Phenolic GRP structure will also produce much lower smoke emissions that non phenolic materials.
